Allen Bradley 1771-HTE

The Allen Bradley 1771-HTE industrial communication module is a high-performance, highly reliable industrial automation component designed specifically for industrial automation control systems. As a professional industrial automation supplier, Quanzhou Xinyuan Technology Co., Ltd. provides customers with comprehensive support from module procurement to system integration through its authentic supply chain, global service network, and dedicated team.

As a classic PLC-5 series I/O module from Rockwell Automation, the Allen Bradley 1771-HTE can easily handle pulse frequencies of tens of kilohertz and respond in real time to signals from devices such as encoders and pulse generators. It is particularly well-suited for precise position tracking and speed regulation in machinery and automated production lines. As a long-time partner, China Xinyuan Technology has a large inventory of products at competitive prices and provides one-on-one service.

Product Features

The most outstanding features of the Allen Bradley 1771-HTE are "speed" and "stability" - its high-speed counting capability allows it to respond to pulse signals in microseconds, while its industrial-grade isolation design ensures stable operation even in factories with strong electromagnetic interference. The configuration is particularly flexible. Users do not need to understand the underlying code and can adjust parameters through the PLC programming software, such as setting counting thresholds, trigger conditions, etc., as easy as playing with building blocks. In addition, it supports hot swapping, and modules can be replaced while the system is running without affecting the operation of other equipment. This is very critical for production lines that operate 24 hours a day without stopping.

What are the advantages of this product?

The 1771-HTE Allen Bradley's hardware reliability has been rigorously tested. The module uses military-grade components and has an average time between failures exceeding 100,000 hours, three times longer than ordinary modules. The software ecosystem is also comprehensive, seamlessly integrating with Rockwell's Studio 5000 platform and supporting multiple programming languages such as ladder diagrams and function block diagrams, making it easy for engineers to get started. More importantly, it offers a high cost-effectiveness. With comparable performance, it's cheaper than similar products, while offering faster service response times.

FAQ

What is cold end compensation?

One of the crucial steps in thermocouple measurement. The temperature difference between its "hot end" (measurement point) and "cold end" (terminal block) generates a weak voltage. To obtain the absolute temperature at the hot end, it is necessary to know the temperature at the cold end.

How is cold end compensation achieved?

The Allen Bradley 1771-HTE integrates a temperature sensor inside. The internal circuit will utilize this cold end temperature value, combined with the voltage signal of the thermocouple, and through table lookup or calculation, finally obtain the accurate absolute temperature of the measurement point. This process is called automatic cold end compensation.

Is it necessary to use dedicated terminal blocks?

The module itself does not come with wiring screws and needs to be connected to the thermocouple wires on site in conjunction with a 1771-WH or 1771-WH-P terminal block. So it is necessary.
